BEOC’s Testing Office is responsible for entrance, exit, make-up, retest, referral, and accommodations testing.
In addition, this office serves as an official public testing site for the High School Equivalency/TASC test.
TABE PLACEMENT TEST –
BEOC uses the Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE) as a measuring tool for entrance and exit criteria. This test determines program admission and class placement for academic and career programs based on an English, Math, and reading assessment.
BEOC uses the TABE 9/10 Complete Battery online test, which is a web-based version of the manual TABE 9/10 Complete Battery.
For more information on preparing for the TABE test, go to: https://www.testprepreview.com/tabe_practice.htm.
